holiday tipping

So I'm sort of new to holiday tipping and I'm not quite sure what is standard. Could someone give me some guidelines as to what I should be giving the doormen etc..? Thanks.

Banging Noise

Anyone else hear the loud banging or booming noise about every 15 minutes? Sounds like it's coming from the air conditioning vents from above. In particular from something on the 11th floor...
